C-Snip of Kentwood, MI Joins NOOTERS CLUB®

C-Snip spay and neuter clinic of Kentwood, Michigan, outside of Grand Rapids, has joined NOOTERS CLUB® as the latest Rooters affiliate!  For every NOOTERS CLUB®  purchase that originates on the C-Snip website, the organization will get 15 percent of the amount of that purchase! 

Started as a mobile spay and neuter unit just several years ago, C-Snip is now getting to be known as the spay and neuter specialists of western Michigan.  They are a non-profit, charitable organization, providing high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats whose caretakers cannot pay the fee at a full service veterinary clinic.  In May of 2006, C-SNIP opened the doors of its Kentwood clinic which was donated by a generous benefactor.  C-SNIP now employs two veterinarians, four veterinary technicians and/or assistants and four client service representatives performing from 50-70 dog and cat surgeries a day.   For information, go to www.csnip.org.

NOOTERS CLUB® Launches Spay Michigan with Special Fundraising T-shirt

A new SPAY MICHIGAN hotline will be promoted on a special t-shirt designed by Nooters Club®.   DOG and CAT versions of the  t-shirts are selling on the Nooters Club® website (www.nootersclub.org)  for $12 plus tax and shipping, with proceeds going to All About Animals Rescue (www.allaboutanimalsrescue.org) of Warren, Michigan, sponsors of the hotline.

By calling 888-5SPAY-HELP toll free, Michigan pet owners across Michigan will get information from a live operator about affordable spay and neuter services available throughout the state, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  All About Animals Rescue is a nonprofit organization that adopts out dogs and cats, and sponsors local spay/neuter and vaccination clinics.  The group's founder and president Amber Sitko says that the hotline is a much-needed resource as the state's poor economic conditions make it difficult for many pet owners to afford sterilization and as more pets are being abandoned at local shelters.  The program will officially launch right after Labor Day, however the hotline is already active now.

All About Animals & Michigan Humane Society Join in Cat Spay/Neuter Program

All About Animals Rescue of Warren, Michigan and the Michigan Humane Society have joined together to offer cat spay and neuter to limited income individuals in Detroit (all zip codes) and in select communities in adjacent Macomb County.  The program is also open to individuals bringing in feral cats from these areas as well as parts of adjacent Oakland County.   Cost is $20 per cat and includes one-year rabies vaccination and initial FVRCP vaccination.  For information, contact All About Animals Rescue at 586-435-6930 or go to www.allaboutanimalsrescue.org.
