NOOTERS CLUB® is a sponsor of the Cat Days of Summer 200-cat adoption event being held at three Pet Supplies Plus stores in southeastern Michigan July 9-11. This partnership between NOOTERS CLUB®, Pet Supplies Plus, Nature's Valley, Oakland Pet Adoption Center of Auburn Hills, Michigan and Elizabeth Lake Animal Rescue is intended to place as many cats and kittens in good homes as possible. NOOTERS CLUB® will also be selling pre-registrations for $20 cat spays and neuters, to be provided by Oakland Pet Adoption Center. The new California Spay & Neuter license plate, sponsored by the California Veterinary Medical Board, provides funding for free or low-cost spay & neuter and also helps raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering. Go to www.caspayplate.com.

7th annual Wigglebutt Walk on Sept. 11 in Wisc.

NOOTERS CLUB® is supporting the seventh annual Wigglebutt Walk that will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., September. 11, 2010, at Brighton Dale Park in Kansasville, Wisconsin, near Kenosha. Last year 162 Cockers were registered from five states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana and New Mexico. They walked with their families to raise money for Shorewood Cocker Rescue, Wisconsin Cocker Rescue and Illinois Cocker Rescue. This year's activities include a silent auction, raffles, natural instinct testing, lure coursing, contests for Cockers, refreshments and bake sale. Photos of dogs and their families will be offered by a professional photographer and music will be provided by a DJ. Watch for additional info at www.cockerrescue.net/.
