Spay Michigan launches statewide campaign

NOOTERS Club® joined All About Animals Rescue of Warren, Michigan to launch the first Spay Michigan statewide hotline on September 23, 2008.  NOOTERS Club® created a special launch t-shirt featuring the Spay Michigan logo and hotline number.  The September launch included letters and t-shirts mailed to about 200 Michigan state and federal legislators and a news release distributed statewide on the Businesswire.  The phone has been ringing "off the hook" as a result of media coverage.  For information on how NOOTERS Club® can support your spay and neuter campaign, contact LindaW@nootersclub.org.

Best Friends "Responsible Dog Owner Day"

NOOTERS Club® was invited to be part of the annual Best Friends Pet Care Boarding Grooming & Training  "Responsible Dog Owners Day" held in Clinton Twp., Michigan.  The one-day event  featured training demonstrations, first aid tips, dog games, prizes and more.  NOOTERS Club® provided fact sheets on pet spay and neuter and resources for low-cost services.  We also offered our t-shirts, tote bags and other items for sale with a part of proceeds going to rescue spay and neuter programs.

Spay/neuter clinic update

The Alabama Animal Alliance Spay Neuter Clinic in Montgomery reports it has completed more than 5,500 procedures since October 2007 and the Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic in Irondale has completed more than 1,800 procedures since opening in June 2008.  These clinics are making a real impact.  We would like to hear from you!  Email your success updates and stories to: LindaW@nootersclub.org.
