    Birmingham
    On Feral Cat Fridays, cat colony caretakers are encouraged to trap as many of their feral cats as possible and bring them to the clinic for spay/neuter, supplemental pain meds, rabies vaccination, and flea, worm, and ear mite treatment. All cats will have their ears tipped to show that they have been altered.

  • Mobile SPCA - Maddie's Spay Neuter Project
    Mobile
    A low-income spay/neuter program administered by the state veterinary medical association for pets of people who receive Medicaid assistance and who reside in Mobile County. Medicaid recipients will be eligible to have six pets per household spayed or neutered in any one year, with a total cap of 12 animals per household during the 7 years of the grant at the reduced cost of $10 for a cat and $20 for a dog.

  • Spay Alabama
    Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic is facilitating free spay/neuter surgeries for the cats of Montevallo Residents. As part of the service, transportation to the clinic is provided on Saturdays at 11:30 from Montevallo's City Hall. All cats must be in a carrier and feral cats must be in humane traps.

    Get your "momma" dog or cat fixed for free, for Shelby County residents who surrender puppies or kittens to Shelby Humane Society. Spay/neuter surgeries will be provided for $18 each to Shelby County residents who prove assistance through any state or locally established public assistance program, or can show proof of eligibility for free or reduced school lunch programs.
